Red Birdcage Necklace
Glass marbles, titanium, stainless steel
Working with glass marbles from her childhood collection, Phoebe has produced necklaces that explore movement and the tactile qualities of jewellery characteristic to her work.
The pieces evoke nostalgia for a time when we made more things by hand and experienced the tangible qualities of materials, in contrast to our increasing obsession with virtual technologies.
